Infrastructure
Our network is powered by Cisco and Motorola routers and our various locations are connected primarily via Frame Relay and dedicated T-1 lines. Our locations also utilize DSL lines as high-speed back-ups with VPN tunneling capability in case of an outage on any of our primary circuits. We have cross-connectivity to keep all non-effected locations operating in the event of an outage at any single location. We maintain UPS back-up equipment at all locations on our critical equipment, including generators at our two primary regional locations. We maintain live back-ups of all our critical databases both off-site as well as locally. We utilize on-site servers as well as outsourced data centers to diversify our risks and to minimize costs. In addition to our main core group of support staff within States Logistics, we supplement our data and network support as needed through our vendor partners. This creates an incredible depth of available personnel to help us accommodate all the needs of our employees and our customers.
